COLE BAY--Motorworld has expanded its annual Adopt-A-School Program in 2026, providing support to 10 schools and educational organizations across St. Maarten for projects aimed at improving classrooms, facilities and learning opportunities for students.
Launched in 2021, the Adopt-A-School Program provides participating schools with funding based on needs identified by their management teams. Rather than applying a single approach to every institution, Motorworld tailors its support to the priorities presented by each school, ranging from educational equipment and classroom supplies to facility improvements and special projects.
Motorworld said the initiative reflects its continued focus on education and investment in the wider community. The program has grown since its introduction, with support reaching 10 institutions this year and directly benefiting students, teachers and their respective school communities.
The institutions receiving support in 2026 are Milton Peters College, St. Dominic High School, Reading Rainbow Early Stimulation, Dream Big Academy, ACE Foundation School, 721 Kids Foundation, St. Maarten Academy, Charlotte Brookson Academy, Sister Regina Primary School and Oranje School.
Requests submitted this year covered a range of practical needs. These included AAC devices for students with special needs, assistance with the reconstruction of classrooms and facilities, furnishing a dance room for the arts and purchasing computer monitors for classrooms. Participating schools identify projects they believe will have a direct impact on their students and submit those priorities through the program.

Every improvement, whether big or small, helps create an environment where our students can learn, develop and discover new opportunities. We are proud that the Adopt-A-School Program has continued to grow and that we were able to support 10 schools this year,” said Tariq Amjad, Executive Chairman of Motorworld Group of Companies.
Motorworld said it intends to continue the Adopt-A-School Program annually and is encouraging educational institutions to identify projects where outside support can make a measurable difference. Potential areas include classroom furniture and supplies, equipment, facility improvements and other school-specific initiatives.
The company has also confirmed that the Adopt-A-School Program will continue in 2027 as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and community development in St. Maarten.
