SYNOPSIS:
The Atlantic high pressure ridge is the dominant feature. Additionally, drier air with Saharan dust moving into the region is expected to limit precipitation, and affect air quality and visibility. Persons with allergies/respiratory illnesses should be vigilant.
Slight to moderate seas are forecast to peak up to 5 feet for the next few days.
STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet
SPECIAL FEATURES: A broad area of low pressure over the central tropical Atlantic is forecast to gradually develop over the next several days. This system has a high chance (80%) of becoming a tropical depression later this week.
