SYNOPSIS:

Moisture and instability associated with a low level trough, just east of the island, will cause isolated showers as cloudiness from this feature is pushed over the local area. Marine conditions will be moderate today. However, seas are expected to begin deteriorating from tonight and peak near 12 feet on Friday. A small craft advisory is now in effect for St Maarten. A warning will be issued as the worsening marine conditions and its expected onset draws nearer.

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate          WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet

SPECIAL FEATURES:  None.
