CAY HILL:--- Management and staff of St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) bid farewell to Pediatrician Dr. Pieter Offringa during a ceremony held last week at SMMC. The well-wishing ceremony included remarks from Medical Director Dr. Felix Holiday, Nursing Educator Brunilda Illidge, Obstetrics and Gynecology Supervisor Nurse Sherryl Carty-Fleming and many others who have all worked with Dr. Offringa for a number of years.
Dr. Offringa’s tenure at SMMC spanned an exciting and memorable 26 years and many of the memories shared had a central theme of him going above and beyond for his patients, the children of St.
