PHILIPSBURG:--- Posh Productions (POSH) launched two of its 2019 desk calendars as part of the foundations’ efforts to fundraise for their non-profit, Sunday evening their launch event at the Sunset Beach Bar.
The event hosted a large crowd and started on a high note with Control Band providing the musical entertainment and Laser 101’s Suppa Kid was the official POSH MC for the evening
POSH’s founding Director, Anna Richardson shed light on the initiative behind the calendars and thanked all attendees for their support, “Because of your support of purchasing these calendars, you have contributed directly to our success for 2019 Carnival.” Proceeds from the sale of the calendars go to the foundation’s fundraising efforts to finance their four 2019 pageants that will be held in March and April of this year.
The two calendars (one women’s shot by Elvis Harrigan of Picture This Studios and one men’s shot by Lili Peterson of Lili Peterson Photography) features themed-months of charismatic local models posing alongside sponsor Motor World’s various 2019 car models. Honored were Cheyenne Banner and Randy Wilson for being selected the cover winners and subsequently the two models was presented with a Crystal POSH Award by reining Senior Queen, Shanice Powell and Mature Carnival Queen Micheline Hunte, respectively.
Calendars can be purchased from POSH members, the models, Office 1, Addicted Hair Lounge, STM Shipping, both locations of Van Dorp, Dollar Bazaar, and various other locations on the island.
