PHILIPSBURG:--- The Minister of TEATT Mellissa Arrindell Donker told reporters on Wednesday that since taking office a week ago she has been busy meeting with several department heads that falls under her Ministry and have been discussing their year plans. The Minister said one of her primary focus is to get the economy of St. Maarten back on track.
The Minister said her message to the department heads were that her door would always be open to them and that she will listen to their plans and also deal with them in a realistic approach.
Asked when she would appoint the Director of Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIAE) the Minister said that she did not meet with the Airport management board nor supervisory board as yet, and as such she could not give a definite answer on the question.
