PHILIPSBURG:--- On Monday December 2nd, 2019, the Minister of Justice, the Honorable Egbert Jurendy Doran officially received the sad news of the passing of officer Cernick Jan Lionel Carolina. Officer Carolina was very dedicated to his duty, as he served for many years in various capacities in the Justice Ministry of St. Maarten, carrying out functions at the Immigration department, Central Post Detective, Head of the Police department, and Senior Support Officer at the Philipsburg Police Station.
With heartfelt sympathy, the Minister together with the entire Ministry of Justice, wishes to extend deepest condolences to the family,
