Police investigating the scene of the crime on Monday afternoon.
BEACON HILL--A woman was killed and was later found dead in her home on White Sands Road in Beacon Hill around 12:00pm Monday.
Police and ambulance workers found the woman lying lifeless on the ground on Monday afternoon. She reportedly had wounds to the neck, giving rise to speculation that someone had used a sharp object to cut and/or stab her to death.
Investigators have no clear picture as to what happened, but concluded there was foul play involved. The woman’s body has been confiscated for further investigation. Police officials did not give an approximate time of death.
This homicide is unrelated to the fatal late-night stabbing on Sunday night (see related story).
