This afternoon through Wednesday midday: Partly cloudy and breezy, becoming cloudy at times with isolated showers.

SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Wednesday midday: East-northeasterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 10 to 18 mph.  

       

SYNOPSIS:        

Pockets of moisture at the lower levels of the atmosphere will increase the likelihood of showers as they move across the region. The Atlantic high-pressure ridge will maintain gentle to moderate winds.  

Seas are expected to peak at 8 feet through Wednesday evening. Therefore, small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.  

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate to rough         WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
