This afternoon through Tuesday midday: Partly cloudy, hazy, and breezy, becoming cloudy at times with brief showers possible.

This afternoon through Tuesday midday: Easterly with a moderate to fresh breeze of 13 to 20 mph. 

  

SYNOPSIS:    

Pockets of moisture moving in the brisk trade winds may cause brief isolated showers. Additionally, varying concentrations of Saharan dust will continue to produce hazy conditions. Persons with allergies and or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.    

Seas are expected to peak at 8 feet. Therefore, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate to rough         WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 8 feet
