THE METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT OF ST. MAARTEN WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS SYSTEM AND UPDATE THE PUBLIC ACCORDINGLY.

At 11am, Tropical Depression Four formed off the coast of South Carolina.

This system poses no threat to St Maarten.
