Ministro Ottley anuncia el descanso de mascarilla a partir del 15 de marzo | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – El Ministro de Salud Pública, Desarrollo Social y Laboral, Omar Ottley anunció que a partir del 15 de marzo de 2022, relajará el mandato del uso de mascarilla. Sint Maarten ha registrado una tasa infecciosa del 1% durante la última semana, que es significativamente más baja que el umbral recomendado por la OMS de una tasa infecciosa del 5%.

El Ministro afirmó que esto pone a Sint Maarten en la categoría de bajo riesgo. Por ello, ha tomado la decisión de relajar el mandato de mascarilla de Código Rojo a Código Verde. Tambien consejó el levantamiento del cierre a las 3:00 a.m.
