SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - NV GEBE is helping families prepare for the new school year with a Back-to-School Shopping Voucher initiative, offering customers an opportunity to receive an XCG 100 shopping voucher to assist with the cost of school supplies and other essentials.

The initiative forms part of GEBE’s continued effort to give back to its customers and provide practical support to households at a time of year when families often face additional expenses.

Customers can visit GEBE’s Branch Office in Simpson Bay or Main Office in Philipsburg and make a payment toward their utility bill for an opportunity to receive a back-to-school shopping voucher.

With the start of the school year approaching, expenses can quickly add up as parents and guardians purchase uniforms, books, stationery, backpacks and other necessities. GEBE hopes the vouchers can help ease some of that financial burden while showing appreciation to the customers and communities the company serves.

Ms. Iris Arrindell, Temporary Manager, stated that “Back-to-school season comes with added expenses for families, and GEBE would like to offer a little extra support.
“GEBE views the initiative as a small but meaningful gesture of appreciation, particularly as families across St. Maarten prepare their children to return to the classroom”.

The company remains focused on strengthening its relationship with the public through initiatives that demonstrate its commitment not only as a utility provider, but also as a community partner.

A limited number of vouchers are available. Customers interested in participating are encouraged to visit either the Simpson Bay Branch Office or the Main Office in Philipsburg while vouchers remain available.
