POND ISLAND--Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin headed to Curacao, today, Wednesday to attend a meeting on foreign affairs. Also attending the meeting are Dutch Foreign Affairs Minister Stephanus Blok and the Prime Ministers of Curaçao and Aruba.

  On the agenda are the crumbling situation in the South American country of Venezuela and the impact on the Dutch Caribbean, St. Maarten’s post-Hurricane Irma recovery, the evolving relationship between the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories and an evaluation of the importance of St. Maarten’s membership in regional organizations such as the Caribbean Community Caricom and the Organisation of American States (OAS).
