Employee robbed of a few thousands Euros on Monday.

Marigot:- A lone gunman entered a Chinese Supermarket located next Police Territorial outpost in Grand Case and committed an armed robbery on Tuesday morning. Commandant of the Gendarmerie Sebastien Monzoni said a lone gunman entered the small supermarket and stole $800. Monzoni said no one was hurt in this robbery.
The head of the Gendarmerie also confirmed that on Monday an armed robbery was committed at Seafood Store which is located in Hammeau du Pont (behind Super U). Monzoni said an employee was leaving the store to go the bank to deposit all the cash the business place accumulated last week. He said the employee was leaving on his scooter when another man followed him and approached him at gunpoint and robbed him of all the monies he had intended to take to the bank. The head of the Gendarmerie said the armed robber had on a mask and covered his identity well. He also said at this moment they do not know exactly how much monies was stolen but said it’s a few thousand Euros. Both investigations are ongoing.
