PHILIPSBURG (DCOMM):---The Meteorological Department of Sint Maarten (MDS) said on Wednesday in its 11.00AM Special Weather Bulletin that Tropical Storm Dorian is expected to move away from Sint Maarten during the course of the day.

Dorian at 11.00AM was located 105 miles south-southwest of the country. Dorian at the moment is moving near the U.S. and the British Virgin Islands.

The MDS adds that showers, thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected from the outer bands of the storm.

According to the 11.00AM bulletin: Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles
