PHILIPSBURG:--- The community of St. Maarten was thrown into a shock early Tuesday morning when the news broke about the sudden passing of the Head of the Culture Department Neville York.
According to information reaching SMN News, the well-known culture icon passed away during the early hours Tuesday morning at his French Quarter home. It is understood that York passed away due to a massive heart attack.
As daybreak, several persons read about the passing on the Facebook page of the Minister of EYS Silveria Jacobs. Jacobs in her post expressed shock and the what a great loss the government of St. Maarten has suffered.
