PHILIPSBURG:--- The House of Parliament will sit in a Solemn Public meeting on Monday, October 10, 2022.

The Public meeting is scheduled for 11.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda point is:
Acceptance of the Office of Governor of Sint Maarten by His Excellency Mr. Ajamu G. Baly.

In accordance with article 3, of the Regulation for the Governor of Sint Maarten, the Governor accepts his office by presenting a copy of the royal decree concerning his appointment and of the official record of his taking the oath in a solemn meeting of the Parliament, and informs the residents by proclamation of his acceptance of his office.

Invitations to access the Parliament Building are personal for those who have received an invitation.

Arrangements have been made for the public to view this Solemn Public meeting at the Cyrus Wathey Square in Philipsburg.

The meeting will also be broadcasted live on TV 15, Soualiga Headlines, via SXM GOV radio FM 107.9, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, via the internet www.sxmparliament.org, www.pearlfmradio.sx, and www.youtube.com/c/SintMaartenParliament
