PHILIPSBURG:--- During the meeting, elections were held and the members elected Jelle Hamstra to be the new Chairman of the Association, as former Chairman, Marcel Javois, decided to step down after being the Chairman for 4 consecutive years.
Hamstra has extensive experience in the Hospitality and Timeshare industry. His past positions include General Manager of Tamarind Hotel and Manager of St. Rose Arcade. He sat on several boards including, the Heineken Regatta Steering Committee, Stichting Ervarings Gericht Onderwijs, and has been on the SMTA board since 2002.
Joining him on the newly elected Executive Board will be: Celine Van Meer - Vice Chair, Simon Knecht - Treasurer and
