PHILIPSBURG:--- On Saturday, August 3rd the Rotaract Club of St. Maarten Sunrise held their first Hurricane Awareness Mission (H.A.M) for the year at the Sunny Foods supermarket. The HAM project is a means for the club to share important information about preparing for the Hurricane season, which peaks during the months of August and September. During the H.A.M event Rotaractors approach customers and request donations of non-perishable items. Clothing and shoes in good condition can also be donated. All items that are collected at the event will be donated to a non-profit organization for them to use and distribute
