PHILIPSBURG – VROMI Minister, Miklos Giterson, announced on Monday evening that he has temporarily paused the road paving/patching project due to heavy traffic delays. \"The decision to have the work done during the day was largely a financial one, as working overnight and on weekends costs considerably more money. However, it is clear that a reassessment needs to happen as the traffic delays have had a very negative impact on the community\" Minister Giterson explains.
The matter has been placed for further discussion on the agenda of the Council of Ministers for Tuesday and the Minister will apprise the public on an updated plan of approach once finalized.
