PHILIPSBURG:---The St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) will be accepting registrants for all key aspects of Carnival 2019, starting Monday, September 3.
Registration for Carnival’s 50th anniversary celebrations will be open for troupe leaders, calypsonians, bands and roadmarch contenders. Registration for Season Passes will also be opened at the same time.
As has been the case over the past three years, Carnival registration can only be done online via the foundation’s official website: www.sxm-carnival.com. The registration period will close on November 1, 2018.
The foundation has already closed the registration for booths on July 31, 2018 in an early start to Carnival 50 preparations. No additional registrants for booths are being accepted.
The SCDF is currently finalizing plans to launch the Carnival 50 (Carnival 2019) schedule as well as the commemorative 50th anniversary logo.
