"SCDF is once again very grateful to have Motorworld back as a partner in Carnival, especially after the passing of Hurricane Irma, the festival needs all the help it can get. We truly appreciate MW for understanding its corporate social responsibility to this community, it’s people and it’s culture," says Alston Lourens, SCDF President.

Motorworld will be heavily involved in St. Maarten Carnival above and beyond the official support of its main organizers, SCDF.

MWG will also be sponsoring the award-winning Xscape Band Carnival Troupe, presented by Troupe Leader Erica Fortuno. The Motorworld section entitled, "Soualiga" (land of Salt), gives testament of the strength of the people of St. Maarten. Draped in the vibrant hues of blue and red, this bears significance of the island's, as well as Motorworld's brand colors.

"Our resilience lies in our ability to forge essential partnerships that allow us to thrive together, and continue to celebrate our rich culture which is an essential component of the fabric of our society, and shared success. Working and celebrating our rich cultural heritage together, we are bound in unity with a love and passion for the people of this island gem," states Tariq Amjad, Managing Director, MWG.

MWG will also be supporting several Carnival artists, activities, and events. One such major event is the 'Motorworld Carnival Baccanal', which is a kick-off to the Causeway Jump-Up, being organized by SCDF on March 16. The MW Carnival Baccanal event will be held this Friday, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Motorworld's state-of-the-art showroom, located in Colebay.

Featured will be live entertainment by the 3-peat Carnival Soca Monarch, King Rumer, King Vers, Erno York aka Grand Prime, MC Sponge and DJ King Kembe, as well as other surprise guest artists.

In addition, the first 50 customers will receive a free Carnival Survival kit, with a t-shirt and trinkets ready for the jump-up, as well as free food and drinks.

Moreover, Motorworld's "March Madness" sales promotions continue with price slashes on several vehicles to meet the budgets of diverse customers.

"All within a festive atmosphere to celebrate our culture and commitment to progress, as we continue to work together to rebuild our sweet St. Maarten/St. Martin land with vibes cyan done!" states Jacqueline Louis, MWG's Marketing Management Consultant.
