PHILIPSBURG:--- A mentally ill patient on St. Peters has been stabbed on Tuesday night in the vicinity of Boasman’s Bar. Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said the victim was taken to the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) by a private citizen. He said the victim received stab wounds in the neck area. Henson said the detectives are busy investigating and that he could not say how serious the victim was when taken to SMMC. Henson promised to provide more information as soon as it becomes available
Residents of St. Peters identified the victim as Juni Duzang.
