PHILIPSBURG:--- On Sunday July 29th 2018 the man identified with initials J.V. was arrested by police for the possession of an illegal fire-arm. The arrest took place during a control and search of the vehicle at which time the weapon found under the driver seat of the vehicle. The suspect could also not produce any documentation for the vehicle indicating who the rightful owner of the vehicle is. The weapon and the vehicle in question were both confiscated for further investigation.
