PHILIPSBURG:--- Learning Unlimited (LU) on Wednesday answered an urgent call of the Animal Welfare Foundation for assistance with the abundance of unwanted puppies currently at vet clinics around the island.
The school held a general assembly for its students with members of the Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF) and representatives of the St. Maarten Veterinary Clinic in Cay Hill. Several homeless puppies were also brought to the assembly and the students were allowed to cuddle and spend some time with the puppies.
