Library of the future survey.

PHILIPSBURG:— The Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) launched a survey, to learn more from the general public on how the new library is envisioned. Many will remember that the PJL engaged in a memorandum of understanding with the Sint Maarten National Heritage Foundation, and with SIMARC. That has been the point of departure from the beginning of the plan for the new building.
At this point, the PJL is also interested to know what kind of services and facilities, the general public would like to be included in their library of the future. For instance, does the public want also other cultural and heritage entities to be included? And, should the new library be for all generations? Or, should it also have a tourist attraction. The PJL also invites the general public to suggest a new for the new building. Such a name should of course express the intention of having such an important home for the people.
