PHILIPSBURG:--- President of VOICES Foundation Ms. Nkosazana Esther Illis paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, Honorable Wycliffe Smith last Friday. Her purpose was to invite him to VOICES Foundation’s annual Cultural Ancestral Emancipation Day Celebration. Each year, this celebration is held at the Emilio Wilson Park to commemorate emancipation from slavery and to acknowledge the greatness of our ancestors.
This year, the event will be held on Monday, July 1st, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The theme for this year is ‘Keeping our Culture Alive’. In accordance with this theme,
