The African Caribbean Heritage Alliance (ACHA) and the White & Yellow Cross Care Foundation (WYCCF), in collaboration with Health City Cayman Islands, are organizing this public meeting.

Health City Cayman Islands is a medically advanced tertiary hospital located near High Rock in the district of East End on Grand Cayman.

Many diseases from the heart and blood vessels can be prevented or the onset can be delayed when living a healthy life style and taking care of your body and mind.

From that perspective of prevention and providing preventative health care, a cardiovascular medical specialist from the aforementioned facility will be on island to help educate the population of Sint Maarten on how to better take care of their heart health together with a local cardiovascular medical specialist from Sint Maarten.

A heart attack survivor and his wife will also share their experience.

Topics that will be highlighted are the current situation on Sint Maarten regarding heart health and life style modification in CAD- current guidelines, and sudden death in athletes, which is a hot topic in the Caribbean.
