PHILIPSBURG:--- The St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry (COCI) in support of the ban on plastic bags in St. Maarten, presented COCI shopping bags. The Operations Manager of COCI stated that the bags will be given out to the COCI customers, as of January 20th, 2017, at COCI in Philipsburg.
COCI hopes through this initiative to contribute towards the protection of our environment. COCI trusts that the community of St. Maarten will fully and actively engage in the protection of our environment by joining the efforts already launched in St. Maarten in this regard. A cleaner St. Maarten is a healthier St. Maarten for us all.
