CBA and Oranje School can re-open Friday.

GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin in an update regarding the Pond Island landfill fires on Thursday said based on assessments and discussions with the Minister of Education Jorien Wuite, the two remaining schools that were closed on Thursday can re-open on Friday.
The two schools are the Charlotte Brookson Academy (CBA) and the Oranje Primary School. Day care centers can also resume operations.
Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin would like to thank all emergency services for their role played since over the weekend in connection with ensuring public safety and security during these two major fires on Pond Island.
