PHILIPSBURG (DCOMM):--- Ministry VROMI would like to inform the public and especially the residents of the BEACON HILL area that Beacon Hill road located at the end of the SXM Airport runway is currently impassable due to the sand that has been accumulated on the road from the heavy sea surge caused by Hurricane Jerry.

The Ministry of VROMI has assets in place and is busy clearing one lane of the time of Beacon Hill road in order to allow residents to reach their property.

The Police Department will be assisting with traffic control
