SINT MAARTEN (SIMPSON BAY) - The Windward Islands Bank (WIB) is pleased to announce the reopening of its renovated Simpson Bay Branch at Airport Road 15, which welcomed customers back on Tuesday, November 3. The reopening was marked with a small ceremony on Wednesday, November 4, attended by members of WIB's management team and customers.

The renovation introduces a refreshed, modern look and an updated layout designed to enhance the customer experience and better support the evolving banking needs of the community.

A key feature of the renovated branch is a dedicated area where customers can receive personal assistance with digital banking services. Whether customers are using online or mobile banking for the first time or would like to become more comfortable with the tools they already use, staff are on hand to guide them through the Bank's digital solutions so they can use them with confidence.

Originally opened in 1992, the Simpson Bay Branch has served the surrounding community for more than three decades. Its renovation reflects WIB's continued investment in its branch network and its commitment to providing welcoming banking environments that respond to changing customer expectations.

Mrs. Daisy Tyrol-Carolus, Country Head of WIB, said: "Simpson Bay Branch has been part of this community for over 30 years, and it is a pleasure to welcome our customers back to a space that reflects where banking is today. Digital banking offers real convenience, but we know many customers want someone beside them while they get started. This branch gives them that support. Investments like this are about making banking easier for the people we serve, and we will continue to make them."

Customers will continue to enjoy the same branch services and regular banking hours, including access to the 24/7 depository facility outside of branch hours. A new ATM has been installed at the branch and will be in service soon; customers will be notified once it is available. In the meantime, customers can use the WIB ATM located across the street at the SOL gas station.

Through continued investment in its facilities, services and customer support, The Windward Islands Bank remains focused on improving the way customers experience banking. The renovated Simpson Bay Branch brings together a modern environment, digital convenience and the personal support that has long defined WIB's relationship with the St Maarten community.
