SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - Ife Badejo, Founder and CEO of Islandpreneur International and an appointed AI Ambassador for Sint Maarten, will join a faculty of international AI leaders on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, 2026, for "Artificial Intelligence for Women Leadership."

The live, registration-only virtual intensive is convened by Artificial Intelligence for Social Impact and Development (AISID), an initiative of the Africa Hub for Innovation and Development (AHFID), which operates out of Nigeria and Canada. AHFID works with multilateral institutions, governments, and global NGOs—including the World Bank, UNICEF, WHO, and GAVI—to advance digital capability, AI ethics, governance, and public sector innovation.

Unlike traditional webinars, the two-day workshop is designed as a hands-on "build event." Participants will work directly inside active AI tools alongside speakers, leaving each day with functional digital assets.

Badejo’s participation follows high-level global engagements, including selection by the U.S. Mission in Geneva as one of only three global IVLP alumni at the AI for Good Global Summit, followed by a strategic working trip to Nigeria.

"Practical AI capability is spreading unevenly," says Badejo. "Women leading organizations across the Global South are too often expected to catch up rather than invited to build from the start. This intensive puts working tools directly into their hands for their circumstances."

Running daily from 1:00 - 3:00 PM AST (local time), the event is tailored for women leading teams, running businesses, holding public office, or working across civil society in Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora.

On Thursday, August 27, the focus is “Fluency and Leverage”, attendees will discover best practices of how to integrate AI into daily workflows, focusing on task mapping, custom AI assistant configuration, practical automation, and prompt engineering. Badejo will lead the session on prompting for work-grade output, teaching leaders how to generate professional results.

On Friday, August 28 the theme is  “Build, Market, and Access”. This day focuses on commercial and operational applications, including no-code tool deployment, positioning strategies, and partnership mapping. Badejo will lead the session “Customers, Marketing, and Revenue" using a real-world participant business to build live deliverables designed to attract customers and drive revenue.

Badejo shares the virtual stage with co-presenters Lola Adey, Founder of VibeCode Africa and CEO of Nard AI, and Natasha Chatlein, Program Director of AI Leadership Programs at BrainCoral Labs.
