The Korps Politie Sint Maarten (KPSM) will show its support for Cancer Awareness Month on Friday, October 9, 2026, as officers and staff wear pink T-shirts as part of their uniforms to stand in solidarity with everyone affected by cancer.

KPSM recognizes the impact cancer has on individuals, their families, and loved ones, as well as the challenges faced by those undergoing treatment and the healthcare professionals and caregivers who support them throughout their journey.

Through this simple but meaningful gesture, KPSM hopes to raise awareness, express solidarity, and remind those affected by cancer that they are not alone.

“You are not alone. We stand with you.”

KPSM stands in support of all those battling cancer, survivors, families, caregivers, and everyone working tirelessly to provide treatment and care. The organization encourages the community to continue showing compassion, offering support, and raising awareness about the importance of cancer awareness.

By wearing pink, KPSM joins the broader effort to remind the community that behind every cancer diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story deserving of care, strength, and hope.

Together, we stand in solidarity with everyone affected by cancer.
