ANIS Saint-Martin launches AMAZONES, a new club for people aged 60 and overFree and supported by the CGRR Agirc-Arrco, the scheme focuses on physical activity, nutrition, well-being and social connection to support seniors in active aging.
Here, the goal is not only to prevent loss of independence, but also to enable seniors to remain active, supported, and fully involved in the life of the community. The project originated from a pilot program conducted in 2025. digital workshops “Connecting Our Seniors” had gathered a ten people and permission to combating isolation while facilitating the use of digital technologyFollowing these meetings, the participants wished to continue this momentum, but on a broader scale.
Once or twice a week until July 2027Activities will be offered with specialized instructors. Walking, gentle yoga, local cooking workshops, sophrology, relaxation, memory exercises, outings, heritage tours, shared meals, and digital support will gradually make up the program. The program will be developed with the participants, based on their desires, ideas, and skills. This approach aims to make the club a true space for exchange and knowledge sharing. Ten places are available. Registration is open until October 10, 2026.
