Several parking restrictions are planned for next week in Saint-Martin as part of the monthly practical driving tests.
In Sandy Ground/Morne Rond, the parking lot of the Albéric Richards stadium
The test center will be closed on Wednesday, August 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the motorcycle skills test. Training sessions for candidates will begin on Tuesday, August 18. The local police will be present to inform motorists and residents and to prevent illegal parking. On the day of the test, vehicles parked illegally may be towed at the owner's expense.
In Galisbay, the parking lot will serve as an examination center from Monday 17 to Friday 21 August.
Driving tests for category B licenses, intended for small vehicles, are scheduled there every day from 7am to 14:30pm. Tests for heavy categories (C, D and E) are also scheduled for Thursday, August 20, from 7am to 13:30pm.
The local police will ensure compliance with parking restrictions. Vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense, in accordance with current regulations. The local authority urges motorists and residents to take these measures into account to facilitate the examinations.
