On October 9th and 10st, the La Chapelle Theater will open its doors to opera singing with “The Voice of the Heart”, two benefit concerts organized by the Rotary Club Saint-Martin NorthAn opportunity to discover a captivating musical universe, still often overlooked, to offer oneself a cultural break and above all, to support a just cause.
Léïla Brédent, soprano Guadeloupean woman endowed with a great vocal agilitywill share the stage with the Canadian pianist Dominic Boulianne, accompanist to great operatic voices, including Barbara hendricksBoth are recognized for their artistic commitment and musical sensitivityThe local choir Chorus will also participate in the show, performing two songs from the program. These two evenings of solidarity and unity also carry the ambition of to discover theopera house to the greatest number and to promote the talents from the overseas territories.
A cultural and charitable outing
To enable this initiative to come to fruition, the Rotary Club Saint-Martin Nord can count on the support from several partners premises : Nagico insurance, Gumbs New Techniques (GTN) et ComputechBeyond artistic discovery, “The Voice of the Heart” carries a charitable dimension. The proceeds from the two performances will be dedicated to initiatives supporting the maternal and child health and girls' educationlocally and in Haiti, as part of Rotary's commitments.
