MARIGOT, Saint-Martin--The Saint-Martin Tourism Office has launched its official 2027 call for projects, inviting businesses, associations and other project organizers to submit initiatives with strong tourism potential and the ability to contribute to the destination’s visibility and local economic activity.
The initiative forms part of the Tourism Office’s wider strategy to strengthen the destination’s attractiveness and support events capable of drawing visitors from outside the territory.
Projects submitted for consideration must demonstrate a clear link to the promotion of Saint-Martin as a tourism destination. Applications will be assessed primarily on their ability to attract visitors, stimulate the local economy and increase awareness of the destination.
Beginning in 2027, the Tourism Office is changing the way it supports selected projects. Direct financial assistance and subsidies to organizing entities will be replaced by direct operational support.
The Tourism Office will focus its assistance on three main areas: helping organizers connect with travel agencies and tour operators to develop packaged travel offers, supporting the hosting of media representatives and influencers to increase event visibility, and providing multi-channel promotional campaigns at the local, regional and international levels.
The new approach is intended to provide practical support that is directly linked to creating tourism value and promoting Saint-Martin.
Project organizers are invited to submit a complete application using the official form provided for the program.
Applications opened on September 15 and will remain open until October 31, 2026, for events scheduled to take place during 2027.
Completed applications can be submitted by email tolocalregional@st-martin.orgor delivered directly to the Saint-Martin Tourism Office at 10 rue Général de Gaulle, Saint-Martin.
The Tourism Office said the objective is to prioritize projects that can generate measurable tourism activity while contributing to the promotion and attractiveness of the destination.
The call for projects closes with the Tourism Office’s reminder that tourism development is a shared responsibility across the community: “Tourism is everyone’s business.”
