CARIBBEAN REGION--The Commission of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is pleased to announce the official appointment of Ms. Aisha Maina, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aquarian Consult Limited, as the OECS Strategic Adviser for Africa-Caribbean Cooperation.
The appointment, effective July 1, 2026, marks a significant step in advancing transatlantic South-South cooperation. Ms. Maina’s role will serve as an important catalyst for building historic bridges between the Eastern Caribbean and the African continent.
Ms. Maina brings to the Commission a distinguished record of visionary leadership. As CEO of Aquarian Consult Limited, she has led high-impact initiatives spanning governance, trade, energy, agribusiness, social impact and the creative economy. Her strategic expertise and strong network across Africa’s public and private sectors will be instrumental in advancing commercial, investment and cultural ties to new levels.
As part of her advisory mandate, Ms. Maina will work directly with the Office of the Director General to guide policy frameworks and operational strategies aimed at delivering concrete and mutually beneficial economic outcomes.
