The evening was hosted by Charles Rollan and Luciana Raspail, who guided the program as the club reflected on a year of community impact under the theme “Helping Hands, Touching Hearts, Changing Lives.”

During his remarks, President Pierre highlighted several projects carried out during the year in the areas of literacy, youth development, healthcare, environmental stewardship and community service. The club also celebrated recognition from Rotary District 7020, as well as receipt of the Platinum EPIC Award for excellence in public image and community engagement.

Members were recognized for their dedication and participation throughout the year, with Silver, Gold and Platinum Attendance Awards presented to Rotarians who achieved 50 percent or higher attendance at club meetings, fellowship events and service projects.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of Paul Harris Fellow and Multiple Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Several club members were honored for their continued support of The Rotary Foundation. Gold and Platinum Sponsors Guillaume Gorlier, Guillaume Gumbs and Joy Carty were also recognized as Paul Harris Fellows for their generosity and continued support of the club.

In a touching moment, Rotarians Magdiona Gumbs and Krystel Davis presented Paul Harris Fellow recognitions to their mothers, Bernice Gumbs and Glenda Smith Groeneveldt, in honor of lives dedicated to service, compassion and giving back to others.

The club also welcomed Tamara Leonard as an Honorary Member in recognition of her steadfast support and dedication to Rotary.

President Pierre’s highest individual awards were presented to Krystel Davis, who received the Fellowship Silver Award; Jamila Boirard, who received the Board Member of the Year Gold Award; and Assistant Governor and Club Secretary Elisia Lake, who received the Rotarian of the Year Platinum Award.

As he concluded his term, President Pierre thanked members, sponsors and community partners for their support throughout the year and reminded attendees that Rotary’s true legacy is measured by the lives touched through service.

Incoming President Jade Maccow shared her vision for the year ahead under Rotary International’s theme, “Creating Lasting Impact.” Drawing from her passion as an educator, Maccow emphasized the importance of empowering youth, promoting literacy, fostering mentorship, supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening communities through sustainable service.

She encouraged members to continue dreaming boldly, serving passionately and working together to create opportunities that will leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
