GREAT BAY, St. Maarten--Curaçao and Nicaragua remained unbeaten, while host St. Maarten collected its first victory as play continued in the 2026 Latin America & Caribbean Junior League Baseball Tournament at the Erwin “Baco” Richardson Little League Stadium.
Curaçao produced the most decisive result of Tuesday’s schedule, defeating Puerto Rico 10-0. The victory followed Curaçao’s 11-4 opening win over Argentina and moved the team to 2-0.
Nicaragua also improved to 2-0 after edging Aruba 1-0 in a low-scoring contest. Nicaragua opened its campaign with a 5-4 victory over Bonaire.
Panama recorded its second consecutive victory on Tuesday, defeating Bonaire 9-6. Panama had earlier beaten the U.S. Virgin Islands 10-7 after losing its opening game 7-3 to Aruba.
St. Maarten currently holds a 1-1 record. The host team began the tournament with a 10-8 loss to Puerto Rico before responding with a 16-5 victory over Argentina.

The tournament, which began Sunday and runs through Saturday, July 18, brings together junior baseball teams from the Caribbean and Latin America. Games are being played at the Erwin “Baco” Richardson Little League Stadium.
Wednesday’s schedule
St. Maarten returns to action Wednesday evening against unbeaten Curaçao at7:00 p.m.
Additional daytime games are also scheduled as pool play continues. The St. Maarten Little League Association has advised supporters to follow its official social-media pages for the daily schedule and any changes to game times.
The tournament continues through Saturday, when the regional champion is expected to be decided.
