MARIGOT, Saint-Martin-- Air France and Air Caraïbes are strengthening their partnerships and service to Saint-Martin, with new developments announced during the Saint-Martin Tourism Office’s participation in IFTM Paris 2026.
The Tourism Office used the international tourism trade show to renew its agreement with Air France, a longstanding partner that has supported Saint-Martin’s tourism promotion efforts for several years.
Under the partnership, Air France assists the Tourism Office with bringing journalists and travel agents to Saint-Martin by providing airline tickets, allowing tourism professionals to experience the destination directly and subsequently share it with their audiences, readers and clients.
A significant development announced during IFTM concerns the introduction of the Airbus A350 on Air France’s Saint-Martin service.
Air France is scheduled to conduct two test flights using the Airbus A350 on November 3 and November 8, 2026, ahead of the aircraft’s planned introduction into regular service from February 1, 2027.
The Tourism Office said the development reflects Air France’s intention to provide passengers with improved comfort and service while strengthening connectivity to Saint-Martin.
Air Caraïbes is also renewing its agreement with the Saint-Martin Tourism Office and has confirmed that its Airbus A350 will return to the destination beginning in October 2026.
The aircraft will provide passengers with an enhanced travel experience as the destination moves into its winter tourism season.
The Tourism Office views the developments involving both carriers as positive indicators heading into the coming tourism season, particularly as Saint-Martin continues working to strengthen air access and its position within major European markets.
