GREAT BAY--St. Maarten will proudly host the Latin America & Caribbean Baseball Tournament from July 12 to 18, 2026, bringing youth baseball teams from across the region to the Erwin “Baco” Richardson Little League Stadium for one week of competition, sportsmanship and island pride.

The tournament will welcome teams representing Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Aruba, Argentina, Bonaire, Colombia, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Venezuela.

Organizers said the tournament is expected to showcase youth baseball talent from Latin America and the Caribbean while giving St. Maarten an opportunity to welcome visiting players, coaches, families and supporters to the island.

For one exciting week, St. Maarten will serve as the home of youth baseball excellence as talented athletes take the field, including Team St. Maarten, which will represent the Red, White and Blue before the home crowd.

The St. Maarten Little League Association is encouraging the public to mark their calendars, spread the word and come out in strong numbers to support the tournament. Volunteers, sponsors and donors are also invited to join the effort and help make the event a success.

Organizers are urging residents to pack the stands throughout the tournament week and show visiting teams the strength of St. Maarten pride.

Season passes are now available for persons who wish to enjoy the full week of baseball action.

For adults, season passes are available for US $65, while general admission is US $10 per day. For children ages 4 to 15, season passes are US $30, while general admission is US $5 per day.

Season passes allow fans to skip daily admission fees and enjoy every game of the tournament.

Passes may be purchased in person at the Erwin “Baco” Richardson Little League Stadium from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To create personalized season passes, all pass holders must submit a recent photo and full name. Submissions can be sent by email toeventssmlla@gmail.com.

The public is encouraged to secure passes early and be part of one of the biggest youth baseball events in the region.
