Six women will be honoured with the Ingrid Whitfield Award today, Monday, March 8, International Women’s Day, in St. Eustatius.

The ceremony is set to take place at the Boardwalk at 7:00pm. Normally, International Women’s Day is celebrated in Statia in grand fashion with a Women’s Day gala dinner, but due to the pandemic the event was downscaled.
