MARIGOT—A woman in her thirties was killed on the main RN7 in Bellevue Sunday night at around midnight following an accident between a scooter and a motorbike.

  The Pompiers (firefighters), who are trained as emergency responders, confirmed the woman who had been riding the scooter died at the scene despite attempts to resuscitate her. The other victim was the motorcycle rider, also in his thirties, who was transported to hospital in very serious condition.

  The pompiers, emergency responders Structures Mobiles d’ Urgence et de Réanimation (SMUR) and the Gendarmerie intervened.  The pompiers stressed the circumstances surrounding the cause of the accident are still unclear.

  The Gendarmerie has not yet communicated on this accident despite requests for further information.
