Two vehicles were seriously damaged and left on Amazone Road in Maho over the weekend. It is unclear what happened or whether anyone was seriously hurt.
However, if they were, they did not call the authorities. Police spokesperson Inspector Ethelwoldus “Joe” Josepha confirmed on Tuesday that the police had received no word about an accident in the area. One vehicle had been removed by Tuesday afternoon, but the one pictured was still there when this newspaper visited the scene around 4:30pm Tuesday.
