The Prosecutor’s Office has decided to donate a number of unclaimed items which were confiscated in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma to Red Cross St. Maarten, Turning Point Foundation, Safe Haven Foundation, Mental Health Foundation and the Belvedere Community Centre.
The Prosecutor’s Office is presently in the process of setting a date and location for a public auction of the remaining confiscated goods. The public will be notified via the media as to the date, time and location. In photo: Police confiscating looted items post-Hurricane Irma last year.
