In celebration of International Firefighters Day, Saba’s members of the Fire Department will be making a round across the island with the sirens and lights of their vehicles switched on around 9:30am.

The public is invited to attend a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony, which will be held at the World War II monument at the corner of the road which leads to Fort Bay, at 1:45pm.

A moment of silence will be observed at 2:00pm, which coincides with the time of the tribute in the Netherlands.
