Kidz at Sea Foundation took four students for a leisurely sail to reward them for their hard work on the second boat under construction as part of the Build Your Future project at Milton Peters College. This programme has been made part of the woodwork curriculum in 2015 to provide students with a more elaborate skillset. In early 2016 the first sail boat, Purple Heart, was completed and competitively sailed in the 2016 and 2017 St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. The students are keen to complete the second boat before the 2018 regatta and sail more often. In photo are students, teachers Sergio Hodge and Mendoza and Kidz At Sea mentor Iain Mobbs.
